friendticker ist ein weiterer Geolocation-Dienst, ähnlich Foursquare oder Gowalla. Man kann sich, wie bei den beiden anderen Angeboten, in Lokale, Kinos, das eigene Büro etc. einloggen. Als Belohnung für oftmaliges Einloggen in eine Location warten dann aber nicht Badges oder Pins, sondern Gutscheine, Rabatte oder Gratisdrinks, so ist es jedenfalls angedacht 
friendticker startet mit einer iPhone App, die schon in einer Beta-Version vorliegt. Apps für Android und Blackberry sollen folgen.
